Jay Clarkson is significant. The Expendables album is incredible. It's one of the finest albums to come out of the 1980s. Christchurch and love will cradle you. Beautiful. Jay Clarkson's voice is the voice of an angel. A distinctive style.
If this album from 1984 hasn't been re-released it should be. 'Say Cheese' is one of my favourite New Zealand tracks - a DJ favourite. Locate this album and you will fall in love with it. A subsequent move to Dunedin and onto the Arc Scene.
