You'll be shocked to know that the Loaded Hog is no more - it was just a big empty space when I was up there last week. Stage Door was a good choice, but they've put some sort of half wall up half way along the cafe space, which quite nastily breaks things in two. I'd say that for an acoustic set, the best bet these days would be the Celtic, although there's a lot who go there other than to hear music. Palmie venues seem to be more sparse than I can recall, with only Guvnors, the Enemy Dojo and the Stomach and I'd not see any of them being acoustic friendly.
