Hey all,
Just wondering what you people think of Wash.
I reckon they are bloody awesome. I have seen them perform twice, first time at our school ball (cool eh?), and then actually at school. They were really good both times. Just my luck of course, I wasn't at the Parachute festival for their performance, but nevermind.
Their vocalist sounds kinda like Zac de la Rocha from Rage. Their guitarist, (who started out as their drummer) can also sing really well, which is an advantage because they can include both rapping and vocal melodies in their tracks.
Anyways, enough of that... Your opinions please :-)

Yeah they're cool,
I remember first seeing them at a battle of the bands gig at Mount Maunganui's soundshell (before the local govt ripped it down)which they won, and successively in the following few years at local concerts at such around Tauranga/Mount Maunganui. I haven't seen them play live in a while, since moving to Welly, but my bro checked them out at Brewers bar in Mount Maunganui in the Weekend and said they have progressed grandly. The lead dude does sound a lot like Zac De La Rocha, but when I saw them at a gig in around '97 they were pretty anti-RATM, go figure. I'd like to see their progression first hand, but haven't had the opportunity lately, so this comment is somewhat based on their earlier years, hopefully they're as good as I've heard.

P.S. I checked them out at Parachut '97 and '98 where they were without a doubt the best band there.
