Would you too rank Paul McCartney as #1?

I think this is a pretty comprehensive list, although I'd put Scott Stapp on a higher ranking. Plus, this line is a gem: "It doesn't matter whether or not you believe Durst's claim that he drilled Britney Spears six ways 'til Sunday; this rap-rock goofball is largely responsible for rock's darkest era: the late 90's (Kid Rock, you can take a bow too)."

I reckon 'Helter Skelter' is pretty good, if you can put aside certain infamous connections... but hey, that's right, anything edgy or rocky the Beatles did was all John, right? :P

Anyone heard Macca's ambient techno stuff from the mid-90s? What was it called...? I think The Fireman was the pseudonym. He tried to be anonymous, but was inevitably outted.

well that feedback is really a moot point, because although it's played on a bass, john did everything in his power to convinve us it was his idea, the anthology sides with him and even hinting that it's a divine paul moment will have john turning in his grave.
