We are seeking a Vocalist who is DEDICATED!
This means turning up to practises and helping write songs.

The ability to play bass / guitar / drums (or anything) would help but definatly not needed.

We are Broken Silence. Our mission: to play a new, uncompromising breed of heavy rock and metal and unleash it on the unsuspecting audiences of Dunedin, New Zealand. The pinnacle of several now-defunct former bands, we are the result of 30 years combined experience in music and performance from 4 members:

Rumble: Tim Crawford
Blast: Tim van de Klundert

Our influences span the spectrum of rock, metal and hardcore. We take a little from each, tweak it to suit our own tastes, and melt the lot down into a melodic maelstrom which has delighted and intrigued audiences from day one. Our first love is performing: the stage is where the creature comes alive.

Broken Silence was formed in Early 2004. Alex met Tim VDK over the rockquest classified section and after talking over the phone they decided to have a jam together.

Alex had a friend from an old band who played (and still plays) guitar called Tim Crawford. He gave him a call one day to learn that he was keen to jam with him and Tim VDK.

Obviously we play Metal and are all aged 17 going on 18 next (and this) year.
