As for your questions, though... I chose this name on a whim when I went to play my first gig. I just wanted to play under my own name and the promoter gave me some shit, so I suggested "Jet Jaguar". I'd been reminiscing with a friend about watching Godzilla vs Megalon as a kid and the name seemed suitably fruity and daft.
The only thing I don't like about the name is its potential as a copyright infringement, and the fact that several others have used it. As far as people who've released stuff, I know of four including myself.
My back-up will probably be "Chet Jaguar". :D
