Blackseeds on the rocks..

As the blackseeds travel over to singapore today to play in Singapores first 'dub' concert, this may be the last for the blackseeds.. I have on good information that old Bass man shazza is out cause he's finding morally he's now doing it for the money.. not to develop the sound (good on ya shannon.. don't want to end up like sal dub..) and with Nick & perhaps brett all going of to venture toward there own sound (just like robbie williams) and hense probably the end of a dub/pop spell that has hit wellington for the last five years or so .. although the BS aren't my cup of tea I will miss their local prowess and image that has been set out by them.. I look forward to seeing what these boys will do with future colabirations... intersting..

Nah, bro, I don't think so at all! They'll go on and get some new people in; a lot of their shows have extra musicians called in anyway so I'm sure they will recover from the loss

As for "doing it for the money", i think that the fact that they're commercially successful deserves merit - it's due to to their hard work and good backing - rather than making it sound like a bad thing.

exactly, there's every reason to believe they'll just expand again with new personnel from their talent pool which generates multiple side projects and all-star groups.

Or, how about they just strip down to three or four, that could be a new challenge for them.

I don't think Shannon feels or has to feel insercure about anything... .. he made the best decision for him and he looks like he now has a whole lot of weight off his shoulder now....and a wonderful new girlfriend which I imagine he would like to spend more time with rather than devoting himself to something he now longer has the heart for...
