This weekend in Wellington sees the annual Kodak Music Clip Awards at the San Francisco Bathhouse, Saturday 14th July from 8pm until late. The annual awards ceremony celebrating the craft of making music clips, brings to a close the celebration of 20 years of the Wellington Fringe Film Festival..
Awards will be presented for best director, runner-up, best cinematographer, best editor, best animation, and the knack award, which recognises the particular talent of creating high production value at low financial cost.
Last year Jeremy Mansford and Preston McNeil picked up Best Director for Mana's Bounce, by Recloose. Jeremy is back again this year with an animated clip of Mark de Clive Lowe's Heaven, which he directed with Lucas Brooking, Pete McDonald, Gareth O'Brien and Sam Webber. Other clips include tracks by Shapeshifter; The Datsuns; The D4; Goldenhorse; Luke Buda; Blindspott; Stereogram; The Black Seeds and many more.
Prizes feature gear and services from Panavision; Park Road Post; Kodak; Atlab: The Dub Shop: Portsmouth; Upper Deck; Love Your Grip and the Gibson Group.

Tickets $10 or get a Season Pass for $35 ($15 with student ID) that includes entry to the Fringe Film Festival at the Film Archive Mediaplex, cnr Taranaki & Ghuznee Streets, including workshops and all sessions.
