George and Queen are singer/songwriter duo Neil Newton and Immi Paterson; previously known for Dunedin bands Four White Kids in a Bentley and Wilson.
Having re-located to Auckland in 2004, this boy/girl duo’s origins lie in taking traditional folk and pop structures and bringing them to life via a laptop and soundcard. Present day, and away from the band environment, this post-modern treatment has evolved into the full studio experience, the band having saved their pennies up for the high end experiment of having their own mixing desk.
