Mink

Mink is an ongoing project founded by and revolving around the core writing duo of Bryan Spittle and The Puddle's George Henderson. Originally formed in Dunedin, the project is now based in Auckland.

History

Mink started in 1992 when Bryan Spittle invited George Henderson to sing on an electronic track he was working on. The results were pleasing enough to both people that they continued working together and named their project Mink. They invited a large number of different people to work with them, and released a couple of albums in the 90s while based in Dunedin.

Although it has been more than 10 years since the release of their last album, For My Mink, Bryan and George found themselves in the same city again in 2005 and have been working on more Mink material since then.

odd band, odd music.
remember being quite affected by that first album
it made no sense to me at that time.
but grew to appreciate the uniqueness.
