Chris Knox (born September 2, 1952) is a New Zealand music legend. He is a pioneering punk, alternative, experimental musician originally from Dunedin, now living in Grey Lynn in Auckland

Trivia

  • Chris Knox's song Not Given Lightly is used on the advertisement for Vogels bread which features ex-pat kiwis homesick for Vogels Bread (which is delicious toasted with Marmite). He wrote the song for his partner Barbara Ward.
  • Chris Knox is a popular cartoonist, he writes a strip called Max Media for Real Groove magazine.
  • Chris Knox has released an album of musique concrete as Friend.
