Adi has been involved with a long list of artists over the years, Adi's involvement in other projects reflects his broad musical tastes and passion for music in general.



History

Solo

Noise In Your Stereo is the latest creation and first solo offering from Adi Dick.
Described by the man him self as Digital Soul Noise In Your Stereo is a collection of songs created using his trusty MPC2000XL and his acoustic guitar (Along with some other toys).
With a love for soul music, the blues, reggae and hip hop, Noise In Your Stereo is a collection of simple songs about life and love. Apart from My Sweet Stella, the last song written on his 1940's Stella Lap Steel the night before selling it, Noise In Your Stereo is a predominantly beat based album conceived on his MPC2000XL.
Naming producers such as Madlib, J Dilla, Prefuse 73, Steve Spacek and Sa-Ra Creative Partners as influences Noise In Your Stereo is a glimpse into the musical mind of Adi Dick outside of hi other musical projects.

Seven Suns (Aka Stylus77)

Frontman, singer, songwriter, slide guitarist for roots, blues, soul trio Seven Suns (Formerly Stylus77).

Fly My Pretties

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, soul brother who featured in 2005's Return Of Fly My Pretties. The live show/album/dvd featured two songs written and performed by 'Adi Dick with the Fly My Pretties band (The original version of Foresight appears on Noise In Your Stereo) and numerous other tracks featuring Adi on slide guitar and vocals.

Sons Of Puha

MPC wielding, guitar slinging singer of the downbeat soul duo Sons of Puha. A new project with long time associate Pet Johnson.

Module Band

After meeting electronic producer/classical pianist Module (a.k.a. Jeremiah Ross) during Fly My Pretties in 2005 a musical friendship was forged and now Adi Dick is the new sonic texture laying, funky wah-wah squeaking gat slinger in the Module Band.

The Ace

One half of The Ace, a songwriting/producing collaboration with Anya (Singer in Czech group Alvik a.k.a. DJ Sister Soul). After meeting at 2005's Red Bull Music Academy as participants, where they wrote and recorded Faces, Adi and Anya became The Ace. A somewhat open ended project, The Ace will mean sharing files between New Zealand and France (where Anya is currently based) to create what their kind of soul music.



Trivia

Adi Dick was a participant at 2005's Red Bull Music Academy in Seattle, U.S.A. Picked as one of 60 people chosen worldwide to attend, Adi soaked up the musical atmosphere and made many friends around the globe. While at the academy he got to share a vocal booth with legendary Motown singer, songwriter Leon Ware to sing backing vocals and play bass on a track Leon had written at the academy.
