Acid Jack

Acid Jack is a Blues Rock band
It seems that with the current plague of new wave bands hitting our airwaves, blues music has become somewhat of a lost art form.

History

Influenced by the Chicago blues men of the 50s and following in the vein of 60s English pop groups such as John Mayalls Bluesbreakers, The Rolling Stones and early Led Zeppelin, Acid Jack is a 3 piece blues outfit that recreates the excitement of that era with a modern glaze.
To hear them play can be a thrilling experience. Making good use of loud vintage guitar amplifiers, rocking Gibson guitars and thunderous drums, the power of this three piece can literally force the body to convulse and gyrate about the dance floor.
Just as the blues was born out of the poverty and depression of the 30s, Acid Jacks modern blues has been born out of disdain for the fashionable but disposable new wave craze that is saturating the industry.
This aint no cash cow man, this is a real band...
