Parmentier is a drone based electronic duo comprised of Dion Workman and Rosy Parlane.
History
Dion Workman and Rosy Parlane initially met as members of Auckland improv band Thela. After that band broke up they continued working together as a duo, releasing the results as Parmentier.
Parmentier put out a set of three 8" lathe cut records called Odessa on Auckland's Crawlspace Records. Of course it wasn't widely available but material from it was released on American label Drunken Fish's Fit For Kings compilation. The duo also self released a CD called Luxsound via their newly formed label, Sigma Editions.
As its members have lived in different countries for some time now it appears Parmentier is an inactive project.
