High Dependency Unit

High Dependency Unit (HDU) are a psychedelic guitar rock band originally from Dunedin. HDU are renown for highly sonic live shows reaching Bailter Spaceic proportions courtesy of Tristan's wall of guitar meanderings, all anchored down with Neil's driving bass and "The Dino Shuffle".

History

In 1994 a little known Dunedin band by the name of Eskimo Chain decided to change their name and musical direction, adopting a more sonic approach to song writing by focusing on sound dynamics, this new band created a wave of interest up and down the country, HDU was born!

Up until the 2006 EP Tunguska, HDU have a had an unofficial Forth member, Dale Cotton (Aka. Conray) has helmed both the recorded and live sound.

Rumours
