Disasteradio is a CGM/Electrock artist from Wellington comprising of Luke Rowell.

History

Disasteradio has been producing "electrock" since late 1999 and has made quite a stir on the free mp3 dinosaurs (namely mp3.com and IUMA), and has only recently begun producing albums (2X CDr releases distributed by Red Letter Zine Distro)

Disasteradio consists of One Man And His Droid adhering and innovating with the tradition of electronic pop music, using both software and hardware synthesizers. This is not drum and bass or trance.

Every Disasteradio release has and always will be available for free mp3 download somewhere. http://mp3.com.au/disasteradio

Disasteradio live equipment includes Talking Lesson One, Speak & Spell, Commodore 64, Microkorg, Casio MT210, Amdek PCK100, Casio MT640, Korg M500SP all routed through a monaural electric sound combination device ("ROSS 7 CHANNEL PA MIXER")
