Guys I hate to be rude but when you resorted the bar on Friday afternoon you have misplaced a an index page....the one that would hold topics started from 20th of April to the 28th of April
They are still there if you sort the indexes by last post but not if sorted by date started

There needs to be a bit more info on gigs... such as wether there are age restrictions on them!!

i was just wondering if the artist forums could be split into pages (once they get quite long)? like the rubicon one takes me AGES to load...

not that i go there or anything... *shifty gaze*

I was bored & typed 'megaccino' into yahoo search (which is also google) and the first entry was my NZM profile!! That really scared me! Talking to another member on msn, she noticed another user name had all that persons comments & any comments about her!
It's so freaky, I tried a few other uncommon sounding names & it had a lot of them too...

Hey I LOVE the bar but I have a slight favour to ask.

Would it be a problem to like include somewhere (doesn't have to be on the home page) so that we can automatically go to the last post of a bar topic. Cos the Bar is a relatively hidden forum area, you have to go through all the posts to find the replies?

Can something be done about this please?

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a thing on the artist page that you could rate them out of 5 stars or something and then take the average so there would be a general members rating of how good these guys are?

Or if there was a different weekly poll on the band of the week or something like that?

Not a necessity but it would be kinda cool in its own way.

We could get an idea of the most popular artists anyway.

hey all! i've just joined the nzmusic.com community, and as you do, you go check out the site, and fourms and stuff... and i checked out the "ARTISTS" fourm... and i got very lost... then i figured out that each band (listed) has their own fourm... i know that if people want to chat about a band they can go find it in the ARTISTS fourms but wouldnt it be better if you just made it a fourm where you can post with a heading of the band you are gonna talk about instead of individual mini-fourms???

I thought of this because i have been watching the post go up about the shihad name change in at least three different topics/forums and I was thinking how neat it would be if all shihad (or who ever) stuff was "linked"

I would find it interesting and useful to see what topics I and others have started,

probably a case of blind old bat again,

...are the hardworking goblins of nzmusic.com going to add audio streaming to the site??? would be cool to listen to a random playlist of kiwi music while youre browsing...just a thought...no pressure...honest...its a dam fine site as it is ...but yknow.... ;)

when a forum gets over about 100 post, the time for it to come up seems very long, like we have with the indexs to the forums could they be spilt up into pages, to save us some time?

This is something that's been bugging me... Can anyone tell me where the slanted Kiwi photo used in these here forum pages comes from? I'm sure I saw the sign on some building somewhere when I was hooning round the South Island last year but I can't remember where. It was one of those - hey, that's the NZM forum sign! - sad, geeky, NZM-obsessed moments. Think of it as a challenge...

The nzm techos have torn themselves away from the latest Garageland video long enough to update our poll system and now it's a lot easier for us to make polls for you to vote in. So now we want suggestions for poll topics - reply to this message with your ideas and we'll put up the best ones.

The thing that got me thinking was would't it interesting to have that type of thing set up as a formum?

I am aware that it may have to be carefully monintored, just had visons of what it could look like if one of the Zeddy boys turned up, the lovers and the haters could get quite extreme.
