will you eventually have all the Shihad videos available on realplayer?, because QT just dont work for me.
there is some really cool vids there i just cant watch :(
thanx
one of the cool features about v4 is that when you click on the topic link at the top of a post (on the forums page, down below the sector links) it takes you to the post that you clicked on.
howabout doing this from the profiles as well - you see this person has posted, so if you click on the link it takes you right to their post?
Just nosey, how is NZMusic funded? no subscription fees, no ad banners, is this really just a labour of love??? Surely you don't sell that many T-shirts...
Not that I'm complaining...just curious...
Just like to point out that there are some quality news items being compiled on this site. It's a nice start to the morning, especially over a cup of coffee.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the 'Confessions of a Music Junkie.' Thanks for the link. Keep up the great work NZM.
Now I have to leave this site before the forums suck me in.
OK I tabbed out Venus by the feelers and fast times in tahoe, but i dunno where to send them. That sola.peterland site seems to be down. Any current NZ music tab sites anyone knows? O yeah email me if you want the tabs as well i spose.
I've noticed, when searching alphabetically for artists, that those whose names start with "The" are all listed alphabetically under T. That seems odd to me.
stoked
Why was this site created? When did it start? Who were it's founding members? How has the community changed since then (attitudes, language used, etc.)? How has the site developed? Can anyone tell me?
(Intended to be an "oral" history page, please feel free to add your comments as time passes.)
I dunno if it's just on my computer, but on every page before the actual website... there is a whole lot of white before you get to the actual website.
Sometimes I have to scroll down quite a bit to get to the actual page i'm after.
what is up with that? is it only like this on my computer?
On the artist pages, there'll be a whole lot of white space, then you scroll down, a photo, and then you have to scroll down even more before you get to the actual artist page.
Okay, what's the deal with registering with the artist services? I registered about 10 days ago and so far haven't had any luck. I emailed artistservices@nzmusic.com and somebody told me they would be posting passwords, etc within 5 days.. i think that was 5 days ago now.. just wondering what's up..am i the only one experiencing this, or is there anyone else? Cheers
yes yes, im still going on about the gig guide.
anyway, i thought it would be cool if there was a form people could fill out and submit info for gigs. then nzm could screen them & add them to the gig guide and it would get nice and packed.
overly detailed instructions

Hey NZ MUSIC staff, when do the gig guides get updates? I added a gig last week and it hasn't come up. It was for the week beginning September 9th.
NZMusic.com is just about to launch an exciting new range of artist services.
Click the link below to pre-register
If you're in a band or a solo artist, you'll be able to access and control your own artist area on NZMusic.com. You'll be able to add and edit your own bios, upload MP3s and photographs, and keep your fans up to date with gigs and news all through the NZMusic.com website. How much? Free of course!
These services will be up and running in the next few weeks, so in the meantime pre-register as an artist. That way we can let you know when everything's ready for you to get started.
If you're already a NZMusic.com member you'll still need to register as an artist, but don't worry you will always be able to use your existing NZMusic.com login for the forums and chat.
We have more kick arse artist services planned for the rest of the year and we welcome any ideas you guys may have so feel free to lay them on us.
The only areas that can be chosen (for a user profile) are BC and AB. This would be a complete list:
BC
AB
SK
MB
ON
PQ
NB
NS
PE
NL
NT
YT
NU
Thanks!!
Is it possible to delete yourself on nzmusic.com?

I just have to say compared to many other sites where people can comment about music etc. NZMUSIC.COM is so easy to use and wickedly set out etc. plus there are always interesting opinions and topics to comment on. Whoever is behind NZMUSIC.COM well done you have done an awesome job and deserve a pat on the back!
For anyone that is confused: You can add gigs to the gig guide yourself. We welcome everyones submissions. We also feature gigs played by NZ artists all over the world, so if you're not in NZ but know of a NZ gig happening in your town add it to the gig guide too.
The more the better!
How do you decide which gigs to include in the mini-guide on the home page?
is this still on the cards? if so will it be made so you can only join with your NZM username, because that shoutcast chat is dodgy as fuck!
Im not pushing or anything, i just really want to know if its still somewhere on your huge list of things to do.
on the general forums page, can we please have an option of the last 100 posts?
50 just isnt enough to catch up after my day at school!
Hi everyone. As you may have noticed NZM is a constantly evolving thing. What's there one day isn't the next but there's something else instead. The reason for this is that we are trying to create the best website possible for you guys (and us). But we need your feedback to make sure we're getting it right.
So if there's anything that bugs you, or if something's missing that you think should be here, let us know!
If there's anything that you really love, that you'd like to see more of, or are just thrilled to bits by - let us know that too!
The more feedback we get, the more this site becomes about what you guys want.
Thanx!
