is anybody else having trouble posting on NZM today?? im finding this server to be slow slow that i feel like chucking my comp out the windo, i have to either repost or refresh my browser.

...are you guys still creating new artists pages? I've sent in a couple of requests but I haven't heard anything back- I wouldn't normally mind so much, but it's been over a month with two follow-up emails... is everything OK up there in cyberspace? Anyone else had problems?

Yo, there's guidelines for submitting mp3s and that's cool, but I was just wondering which formats videos should / can be submitted in. That is all. Cheers.

Happened to lena o before, and now someone's registered pretending to be hollis. Perhaps it'd be a good idea to trim spaces from the front of user names before registering them.

What's up with the advertisments?

I'm cool with it as long as:
1. They stay on the index page and the index page only.
2. We don't get those annoying 'pop ups'.

If so, all good. (I can imagine this site's quite expensive to run.)

It as cool to see the top 25 and see where we all are, but I really think it has to go. Lists like that cause competitiveness amongst people hoping to climb the ranks. I've noticed a definite increase in irrelevant posts, "LOL" or other tiny ones, double posting etc. And of course the "Here's another trying to get higher" types. (blush)

But yeah, if we wanna get rid of all that crap, Top 25 list must go.

thanks guys... kinda outa the blue but thanks for a good thing always and bliss be the 2track ritual... may morse evole and grow nzmusic into the thing we all dreamed it would be one day... quality mate!... damm this foolish speedy planet in a rush to discover the next hit it has passed by unknowen... or as mel once told me... "only the cracked ones let in the light".

Suggested by Scott... maybe there should be a way to ignore all posts by an individual user that you decree you do not want to pay any attention to.
It will force people to be at least a little polite and to keep the board respectful. These kinds of communities could feasibly be ripped apart by someone who wanted to... people won't keep chatting if the feeling is a negative one.
I for one would like to be able to use an ignore function...

what are the chances of having the favourite artists as a drop down box available somewhere on each page as the old version had. i loved that. makes it nice and easy to navigate to the artists i want.
