There's a weird bit of code appearing at the end of every post.
Every address book entry says "N/A" at the moment.
I have something to share to all of the viewers and members of this website forums. For those who wish and want to be a songwriter I have a reference to you.
Hello,
To all hi from me. I am new to this site. I liked this forum.
Bye
Anna
Now that NZM takes 'larrrrge' custom style icons for users we can see how tasteful we really are. And damn, it's a hard ask to move on from the good old days of the "NZM Pixel Family".
Um, take a look, they're getting pretty entertaining.
I'm doing a bit of a whip-round for some help on the new NZM website. The old dame is getting a bit of a makeover, heart surgery, organ transplants, and reconstructive surgery.
Mainly looking for friends-of-NZM that could offer some time in the content side of things. If you are keen drop a us a line or post in this topic, and I'll email you (no need to put email down if your login email is valid).
Has anyone else noticed that nzmusic.com's server seems to be running extremely slowly the last few days?
Every other site I visit is downloading instantly, but nzmusic.com takes an eternity, like I'm on the slowest dial-up known to man.
I also noticed a few problems with dating on some of the posts. Some have been dated 4 May, when they were posted several days ago. If they were from today then it would say 'today' next to it, surely?
Any of the mods aware of these issues?
Hi all,
well, we've moved servers, and now, no doubt, there will be various teething problems as we make sure all our beautifully crafted code plays nicely in the new environment.
If anyone spots anything amiss (other than the fact the clock and post-times are wildly out, and the fact that most of the images are missing), please drop a note in here.
thank you.
Just to let you know it isn't working correctly.
Not that anyone cares anymore.....

Hi there
The web-page-generating parts of NZM were moved to a new computer today and its running on a new version of ColdFusion. The boffins at Macromedia assure us that nothing terrible should occur as a result of the new version but you never know.
So if you do find any problems can you please email me here: joe@nzmusic.com
Ta.

well, time for an official announcement I suppose...
With the departure of Joe from Morse Media (the company behind nzmusic/smokecds), I am stepping into the team as the new 'senior' developer.
I'll probably get an official login for handling work-related posts and whatnot, and keep my noizyboy handle for everything else.
some of the content on noizyland.com is going to end up over here (hopefully), and I'll be winding down certain sections of that site where I would now appear to be in direct competition with myself.
so yes, if the site's down or you're getting code errors all over the show, you know who to blame.
cheers,
james.
Even though GoogleMaps NZ map is arse this could be fun to plot out collective habitation patterns (where we all live).
Hey,
We are looking for individual(s) for part-time data entry role at NZM/Smoke. Must have superb high speed typing skills, solid internet skills, an eye for detail and be self managed/motivated. Accuracy is essential.
Awesome working environment for music fans. Wellington City based.
For more information, CV submissions, or genuine expressions of interest email store@nzmusic.com asap.
We're trying to assemble a complete list of NZ music artists, but phew! there's a helluva lot of them! We're building the list all the time, but we're liable to miss a few here and there. So if there's any NZ band or solo artist that you know of that we have missed, please let us know!
He had his own log in details to get into my bands artist page, but is no longer a member. Can I have a new pass word, etc, so I can access and update my band's page?????

Yo I don't want to hurry y'all but if that phone isn't drawn soon it'll be obsolete ;)
What's the general timeline?
How about a chat room?
Would be great to come online and chat with other NZMers in real time rather than only being able to post. There'd be a lot of love in the room.
How does everybody else feel about this?
hey hey
If there any kind Dunedin people who could lend Dust a tripod for a DV camera today, could they please email me: joe at nzmusic.com.
thanks
a suggestion: could there be a link to the relevant artist page at the top of their forum? this would ease navigation... if i'm missing something feel free to let me in on it
It's a pain in the arse because it screws up your typing and, if you are deleting something, it skips back to previous pages. I know that sites need advertising revenue, but someone should have put their foot down on this one.
Everyones getting bored of it, no one ever replies to these 'topics'and any topic that is vaguely interesting get shunted off the page quickly.
There should be a separate forum for this sort of thing.
Do visitors from all over the world who come to check out NZ Music, now see ad's for trips to Australia.
or is that just me.?
:) Marvellous.
Look out it's alive!
Who agrees that on N.Z day all the N.Z hip hop artists (scribe P-money) around should come together and have a huge concert and hold a big hungi for N.Z day culture but also for the victims and survivors of the tsunamis it could also be a fundraiser for them plus it would be a great day For New Zealand Hip hop
