that's right for the three people still here I'm going post crazy in 2008. there will be no more of the shy, reserved, non-opinion foal30, from tomorrow on,it's all tell it like it is bravado and self deluded ravings. I'm hoping to get a TV show out of this when my skin cleans up too.
so, given the current points total and the way Arsenal are playing and the fact that I have far too much time on my hands and it's an election year, I hereby declare that 5000 points is the 2008 target.

My life was a bit out of
My life was a bit out of balance for the bulk of last year - too much to do, not enough time in which to do it. I felt like I had to drop one of my hobbies just to feel like I was even dawdling in a forwards direction. WELL, I realised that I wasn't getting anything out of my job except for a good paycheck, and with a bit of encouragement I lined up a new job that has hella more to do with what I actually want to be doing. My mum always said "never make your hobby your job", but if you've got a whole lot of hobbies, then it sure makes sense to get paid for at least one of them.
Upshot is, now I've managed to cover a couple of hobbies in my job description, and have more a/h time to fit in the rest. Touche! If I'd actually made any resolutions this year, I would've achieved them all before before the Jan 1st hangover wore off.

i've been working real hard
i've been working real hard last few years, putting in some horrific hours, so this year i'm pulling it all back. not doing so much teaching, managed to finish my thesis, so have cleared a fair bit of time to get back to writing songs/navel gazing. hope more people post wotsup, would be interested in catching up with what people have done/plan for the next while.
