the Beautiful Game

well it certainly is when your team is winning.
anyone, however, could enjoy the Football Arsenal is currently playing.
the 6th goal against Slavia Prague on Wednesday was truly a thing of beauty.

I know it's a big call to put this up 24 hours before they go to Anfield but really this is probably as good as Sport gets with the possible exception of either Argentina or Barcelona in full flight.

So, early days trophy wise, but if you can spare 90 minutes check out this Arsenal side...class act from the Manager onwards.

You know, I was thinking the same thing about Arsenal. Often we need to pick a team to make sport exciting, but if ever there was a team you would watch for the spectacle alone, it's Arsenal. that said, i do support liverpool (had to pick a team when I moved to england at age 6, literally asked a friend who a good team to support was), so maybe a 6-5 liverpool win would make me happy!

nice to hear a Liverpool supporter say that.
lets hope the game does these posts proud.

but for the width of a post
1-1 is all right though
back on top
with a game in hand

Hleb is playing well, and I thought Crouch did alright for the Scousers.

Hleb is the new George Best

maybe a bit early for this but he has got MadSkillz

the Phoenix however, are an exercise in frustration
it's exciting to watch , but oh so excruciating.
last night was certainly exhibit A for the Prosecution.
how did they lose?

Middlesbourgh?

on the + those Phoenix are always value for money. there is always something happening, admittedly not always of the highest quality but it's well worth a look.
bit concerned about the Sony deal
but there about 8 million years ahead of the Knights.

hooray for the Hammers
and best of all they can't string 2 games together , so it looks good for the Arse in 53 hours time.

and the Phoenix
'tis been a good day.

bye bye play-offs
Aloisi needs to go

but really, it's been a very good start for the Phoenix
well done that man.

West Ham beating Liverpool and Manchester United has been an enormous boon for the Arse
hoping those Spurs prats can lend a hand in the morning.

hoo hoo hoo
and Chelsea choked too.

it gets even better
5 points
12 games too go
if they win Wenger becomes the greatest Manager of an English club side in History.
yes, I mean that.

FA Cup this Saturday night
all aboard!
the Arse v the Scum from OT

let's get it on!!!!!!!!

Taylor was not endorsing the beautiful game when he broke Eduardo's leg in 3 places this morning.
I thought I was going to throw up
the St John's guy did.
word already is he will never play again
he has just turned 24
I hope he will be alright.
