what is up with that?
she's a mother, why doesn't she just tell her daughter the truth?
why are parents refusing to enlighten their children?
why are parents expecting advertisers to educate the youth of NZ?

suggestions for parents:

A1- "because they were paid money, by the company that made the advertisement"

A2- "foreplay, potentially leading to intercourse, which may bring about pregnancy in the adult female"

in light of this kind of stuff along with the santa claus, the tooth fairy, the easter bunny, and whatever other extraordinary goodness western parents are telling children these days, and to be fair, it's not just the parents, but the collusion of entire societies (TV, postal services, telecom, retailers) to mislead children, makes a strong case for freedom of speech.

i'm fully supportive of parent's telling young Chase that there's aliens in the closet, so young Chase can investigate by polling the 6 year olds in his class at Landsdown. We have educated majorities conspiring to dupe entire populations of kids,
