Gidday all. A group of us is trying to get tckets for this Friday @ James Cab. So we rang James Cab and they didn't have a clue what we were talking about. So can any one piont us in the right direction as in here to get tickets from?
mmm, this is a tasty wee track. delicious the whole damn thing. & live @ Matterhorn - thats fukkin rad, I love the whole concept & the image of Cuba Street on the back cover...another fine example of talented people from NZ- money rock on!!
Fat Freddy's Drop in my opinion were one of the best things I have seen in a long while @ Cuba Street Carnival..they were fukking majic. Dallas's voice was just soooo beautiful, so captivating..he painted these images in my head with his words combined with the trumpets & all their glory made a fukking excellent performance..was most impressed with Black Seeds as well!!

I was watching parade roll by waiting for a beautiful lady to return to my arms who I just happened to run into. Staring up at the stars. Listening to "Hope for a Generation" Thinking "I LOVE MY LIFE!"
Dallas's voice is amazing!!! If I could ever collaborate with you guys on stage and even freestyle one song it would be a dream come true!!!

They came out on a 12", and are also on two of the 'Earwork' comps put out by Capital Recordings.

FFD at Safari Lounge were UNREAL!!! My God, the world is not ready for Fat Freddy's Drop.
Props to those dudes for putting on a huge huge show. Chur to Slave and Ladi6. And chur to Mu who has got to be one of the best producers in the world... also, Cliff Curtis was there. Ha.
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the cd that was sold at Safari for the Homecoming in Akl on the 25th June? I've heard it was released by the band themselves so not through the stores! So I try the website and the contact form is broken. Arg. Any thought's?
there are copies of a cd they were sellin at conch records, in an arcade between high street and queen streets, auck. can't remember the name of the arcade, but it's a small shop at the high street end
The chick selling merch at that Safari lounge show said that new Tshirts were going to be going up on the site "soon" but I've been checking back on that and no luck so far. You can get a few of those tracks on vinyl at smokecds.com but you might have to wait for another show to get the CD.
