Coffee

Just thought I'd put this here instead of the classifieds as it's not really an add .. well it is but it's bar related for those who don't fancy alcohol :-)
I've been buying my coffee from these guys for years but now they've got website and I've been ordering online for a few months now the service and quality are fantastic. This is more for the London ( England ) based kiwis, tho they do post overseas I'm not sure it'll be cost effective. So far the fave for my mates and I is the Colombian Medellin High roast .. lovely with muscovado cane sugar and a splash of cream !!! oh and whisky / rum as and when required :-) the link below should take you to it .. and if you happen to be in down town London pop down to old compton street in soho the shop's located there. Happy coffee drinking.

Forums: The Bar,

I don't have a clue how to start a new thread anymore. When did this site get so hard to use?

My black les paul standard is up for sale on a $1 reserve auction! Someone is going to walk away with a bargain on a genuine USA Gibson - don't miss your chance!

Sorry to get all in your thread there Wainui....

Click "publish" and then choose "classified ads".

Your always welcome on a thread of mine white rhino .. good luck with the guitar sale mate .. worth more than a dollar I reckon :-)))

Ah, that thread was alittle before my time I think .. quiet afew people have coffee preferences it would seem :-)
My first memories of coffee was my mum wakeing me up in the morning for school when I was maybe 8 or so, she'd wake me up, go back to the kichen and come back ten mins later with a hot milk coffee, I'd drink that in bed then get up and get ready for school, drunk the stuff ever since, tho only maybe one or two cups a day. That said I'm off to make my morning cuppa now I have the lebanese spiced coffee this morning :-)

Wow. That's pretty hardcore. Growing up, sugar was 'unavailable', so you had to learn to drink tea and coffee straight up. I think I finally started to succumb around 5th form (which coincided with my parents rediscovering real coffee during school cert studying). And, uh, yeah. Now me and the guy in the office next door split a kilo a week.

A KILO A WEEK ... ! even I don't go though that .. or 500 grams for that matter :-) do you drink your coffee intravenously ? to drink that much it must be a 24hr operation :-)
We had the lebanese coffee this morning .. not as good as the five spice coffee in my opinion, or for that matter the toffee coffee we had at Christmas for our Irish ( baileys ) coffees ....

The kilo is effectively shared between 4 of us. And we use the beans for work-based coffee consumption, not just home...

Um, I had an idea that maybe the case when you said " office next door " :-) I was just making an off the cuff smart remark .. :-).
