After waiting 11 years for the return of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE to Australia, tickets to both the SYDNEY ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE on TUESDAY JANUARY 22 and MELBOURNE’s FESTIVAL HALL on WEDNESDAY JANUARY 30 have SOLD OUT in RECORD TIME this morning.
In light of this unprecedented sell out, Lees and West would like to announce that RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE will also appear at the BIG DAY OUT 2008 summer series kicking off in Auckland on January 18 followed by shows on the Gold Coast, in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

So big news, newly reformed band Rage against the machine are confirmed to headline next years Big Day Out. If the rumours about the Smashing Pumpkins are true it's looking like it's gonna be a good'n for us ex 90's teens.

It is difficult to not be excited about 75% of Audioslave playing in the country.
I hope they do "had to be played"

I've still been kinda hanging out for Daft Punk for years, but apparently they're still playing at LCD soundsystem's house, so I'll go see them instead.

Yeah, Bjork sold it for me. Heather: Daft Punk has been on my list for ages too. Did you see the clip floating around of one of their recent performances in Europe? Freaking fantastic.

Not sure about Bjork, my first reaction was "whoopee!", but after thinking about it, I have no idea what to expect.
I just want to experience
I just want to experience hearing her voice live. If her show is only 10% of the one on the Live at Cambridge DVD, I'll be happy.
