Hello all,

I am a bass player in Auckland and am looking to get together with a group of musically like minded individuals to jam, work on songs, and occasionally play out. The ideal band concept would be grounded in soulful playing in styles like: groove jazz, intelligent funk, tinges of rock, with some folk influences and with a jam band type feel.

I would be interested in starting a band or joining a band already in progress. The ideal lineup would be: bass, keys(Hammond and synth), drums, a horn or two, and vocals.

With that said, I would be interested in playing with many different styles of music as long as it was soulful. I live in Parnell and work in Greenlane and would like to play in that general area.
