The Politik is the collaboration of muso/producer Mark de Clive-Lowe & the ubiquitous vocal talent, Bêmbè Sêguè.

Mark & Bêmbè have been collaborating on a variety of projects for almost five years, yet The Politik is their first joint project. Suspicious of trendy buzzwords & marginalising genres, they simply describe The Politik as “twisted 21st Century soul music” - essentially a melting pot of soul, hip hop & funk, mixed with their other loves - electro & afro beat.

Informed, shaped & inspired by the entire history of black music, The Politk’s self-titled album combines so many genres whilst maintaining integrity, forward-thinking & downright wicked music-making.
