The select committee also heard today from the Families Commission which said allowing imprisoned mothers to care for their babies for up to two years in prison would provide an opportunity of parenting support and education "that could change the lives of these women and the lives of their children".
I'd even go so far as to say that "yes, it WILL change the lives of their children"
