SAVE THE WHALES!!

Children aged 2-5yrs from Toddlers Turf in Manukau City, Auckland wrote a song for the whales at Christmas based on their disbelief and shock as to what is happening throughout the world with whaling. Chorus consists of vocals such as: "Save the whales, don't kill the whales, the whales are precious to us".

Blakelock Records provided a place to record their song free of charge to support their efforts. Toddlers Turf is a non-profit daycare centre, so had no funds to produce their song.

Their single consists of 3 songs, Save the Whales, the NZ National Anthem and the instrumental of their Save the Whales song. Te Papa's whale exhibition is using their music and song as background music during their exhibition.

The CDs are on sale for $10.00 each. The profits will be used to upgrade the daycare, provide further learning equipment for the children and 25% of the profits are being donated to Greenpeace NZ.

We encourage anyone that can support this awesome cause to contact us for a copy of the CD.

Thanks for your support
